The third trimester. The home stretch! You’re almost done, but unfortunately this is also the most uncomfortable you’re going to be! So adding to your wardrobe just a little bit with some third trimester outfits will help you get to the end!
Here’s some common third trimester thoughts:
“We’re almost there! Baby will be here soon!”
“The countdown is on!”
“Why am I even more tired?”
“Um, nothing fits anymore.”
This is the point where I personally, don’t want to buy more clothes to just wear them for a couple more weeks. But, I’m also running out of things to wear.
If you’re working outside of the home, it may be inevitable that you need to get black pants, jeans, etc. that still fit. But for the most part, we’re going with what we have already, what we got back in the second trimester, and what we can wear after the fact!
A lot of what you have from the second trimester should still fit (or at least for a little while), so try to just add things where you need them!
Dresses
There’s a lot of stretchy dresses available on Amazon that are affordable and can be worn after baby gets here! Different lengths and styles that can be worn to work or out to run errands.
Toward the end, dresses are going to be one of the easiest options. Even when you’re not pregnant, sometimes you just don’t want to wear jeans.
Loungewear/Pajamas
Hopefully, you’re able to spend more time relaxing at home than you have to be out and about. So make sure you’re stocked up on comfortable loungewear and pajamas. Things like oversized sweatshirts, and even men’s sweatpants work great.
Buy a size or two larger. The sweatpants can sit under your bump, and an oversized hoodie can cover your belly. Or zip up hoodies with oversized t-shirts work just as well too!
Baby Shower
Having a baby shower? You want to feel beautiful and glowing, just like how you look! There’s a lot of places you can buy a maternity dress from and you don’t have to spend a ton of money.
Or, you can always check out Rent the Runway where you can rent a maternity dress and then send it right back after you’re done. Then it’s not taking up space in your closet, and you don’t have to worry about getting your money’s worth.
What’s your plan for third trimester outfits? Are you like me and want to keep the buying to a minimum?
