The Best Spring Nail Colors for 2022

It’s time for a manicure change-up and we’ve got the best spring nail colors for 2022. We’ve done a lot of research across many different sites and put together this list of the top trends that we see coming this Spring.

Get ready for beautiful shades of Pink and Green

The good news? They are all gorgeous and should look good on most hands, no matter your skin tone. You can play with the shades a bit to find the one that works best for you. We’re showing several options in each color, so there’s lots to pick from. Let’s get started!

Spring Nail Colors: Blues & Greens

Periwinkle

We had to start with Periwinkle since it is the Color of the Year, aptly named Veri Peri. We just love this color. If you are interested in more options for Veri Peri (not just nails), you can read our blog post on Veri Peri clothes and accessories HERE.

Royal Blue/Navy

Blue is such a peaceful color and especially for Spring. Looking at blue reminds us of the potential of ocean-filled vacations this summer!

Mint & Seafoam Green

These pretty green shades have been around for several years and don’t appear to be going away any time soon. And now with sage green making its way into home decor, it looks like these green shades are going to be around for a while.

Earthy Greens

“Earthy” is probably a great descriptor of these shades of green. They are a little closer to earth tones while mint and seafoam are closer to water color shades.

Yellows, Oranges & Reds

Yellow

Yellow nail polish is almost a the new neutral. From soft pastels to bright sunny yellows, nothing screams “summer” more on your nails!

Tangerine

The combination of yellow and tangerine just makes me think of summer fruits. Am I the only one?? I’ve seen so many lemon and orange themed accessories this season.

Red

The classic! Red is always in style. The shade of red for spring nail polishes seems to be more of a orangey-red as opposed to a blue red.

Spring Nail Colors: Terracotta, Peaches and Corals

We’ve already shown bright tangerine — these colors are both a little deeper and a little paler shades of orange. I especially like the terracotta colors I actually like wearing shades of brown in the summer and these shades would look great with those outfits.

Terracotta

Just pretty – all I have to say.

Peach/Coral

What I love about these colors, especially coral, is they are a great blend of pink and orange and look great on most skin tones.

Pinks

Pastel Pink

Here are shades that you can never go wrong with! Both the pastel and the bubblegum pinks are so feminine and classic.

Bubblegum Pink

Also known as “Barbie Pink”, this color is forecasted to be very popular in both clothing and accessories this season. If that’s too much pink for you, adding it to your nails is perfect.

Spring Nail Colors: Browns & Mochas

While some of these colors may seem a little dark for spring, they are colors that you may want to add to your collection now. Everything we’re reading says that these browns, especially chocolate brown, are going to be huge for fall. I also think these colors will look great on tanned skin.

Bonus Tip!

If you need to get your nails in shape before adding some new shades to your collection, I recommend both of these products. I’ve used both of these and saw noticeable improvement in my nails after using them. The CND Rescue RX I used during the pandemic (since I wasn’t polishing my nails) and they really got stronger. I still use it today.
