It’s time for our Babies and Kids Gift Guide! I’m (Jen) definitely still a kid at heart, because picking out kids and baby toys is the easiest and most fun! Similar to teenagers, depending on how old your kids are they probably have a very specific list of what they want for the holidays. But, it can be fun going off the list a little bit for something you know they’ll love!
And babies? Well, they pretty much love everything!
We would never recommend anything that Jen’s daughter, or Dianne’s grandson wouldn’t love!

Kids Gift Guide
Educational
Don’t tell the kids, but sometimes toys can be fun and educational! Get kids to use their brains to create and build new and exciting things! With lights and in 3-D!
Playing House
Playing house is great for expanding a child’s imagination, and building a lot of important life skills. You might even get your child to think sweeping is a fun game!
Energy Burning
I don’t know how kids have the amount of energy that they do, but parents usually need to burn off some of that energy before going to bed at night. These toys will help slow down their brain a bit, and burn off some of that extra energy (I wish they could give it to me!).
Things That Go Fast
Playing with cars is always so much fun, plus playing with small cars helps to develop fine motor skills! And what could be more fun than having a car that’s your size to drive around in?
Game Time
Playing games with kids is always fun, and helps them learn about taking turns and strategizing how to win! And it’s a great bonding opportunity as a family, while you’re laughing your butts off at the latest Cards Against Humanity (family edition!) answer.
When It’s Time to Relax
If you let your kid have a tablet, and your kid is like mine, they’re constantly trying to prop their tablet up against something. Enter this tablet stand! There’s three different sides and angles to put a tablet on, so they can watch hands-free!
Babies Gift Guide
Bathtime
I’ve found that toys for bathtime are usually a hit with older babies, and you can really never have enough! Bath toys are fun, but after a while they get gross. So even if they happen to have the same ones, they’re definitely going to use them eventually!
Music
Music for babies is great for development, and it’s so much fun watching them wiggle and enjoy the rhythm. All of the Fisher Price Linkimals toys are great, but Penguins are my favorite animal, and they didn’t have this little guy when Eme was a baby! Jealous!
Just Plain Fun
All of these toys, or toys like it, have been well-loved by my daughter and all my friends with kids!
