I have a confession to make. I can be a bit of a cheapskate. And when it comes to wedding guest dresses, I don’t like feeling like I have to buy a new dress for every event. Especially when I have a super busy wedding season!
In 2021, I had a lot of weddings to go to and a friend introduced me to Dress the Population and I fell in love with their dresses! I ended up buying a green dress, and I got my money’s worth and then some.
Their dresses are well-made and beautiful. I have a couple dresses by them and love the fit and how they’re comfortable to wear all day and night!
If you’re like me, and don’t want to spend a lot of money on wedding guest dresses, take a page out of my book! Find a dress (check out a solid color) and change up your accessories for a totally different look!
You might have a lot of these items in your wardrobe already, like the shoes and different jewelry. But adding a couple new things will keep your wedding guest dresses looking fresh and new! Don’t be afraid to try something a little different!
If you’re unsure about the dress below, check out some of their other wedding guest dresses for one you love and can make your own!
Wedding Chic
This is a classic wedding look with neutral heels and beautiful pashmina wrap. Add a little sparkle with some glamorous earrings, and this gorgeous beaded clutch. This elevates your look without going too far into the glam category.
Add a little more sparkle with a glitter nail polish, wing liner and a your-lips-but-better lipstick.
Casual and Cute
I love how this looks dressed down, and shows how versatile this dress really is! This is great for a casual laid-back wedding with the jean jacket and tassel earrings. But the floral lace-up heels and structured bag keep you looking fashionable.
Pink lipstick and nails pull the whole look together!
Sparkly Glam
If you want to go for a full-on sparkly glam wedding look, this is perfect! Keep the sparkle to your shoes and earrings, and use a gold metallic clutch to bring the look together. Plus, how fabulous is this faux-fur wrap? Keeps you warm and looking like a total glamazon!
Keep the focus on your lips with a bold red lipstick and red nails. And don’t forget to load up on the mascara, or try some false lashes!
Fun and Edgy
This is a totally different twist on this dress, and so much fun! Shift your accessories to black and add on a faux-leather jacket for an edgy vibe. This is great in the fall when it’s warmer during the day, but you need a little more to keep warm at night.
Try a smokey eye, neutral lipstick and dark polish to complete the look!
