Jen’s Amazon Favorites for June!

Last updated on June 29th, 2023 at 03:01 pm

A lot has changed since my last Amazon favorites! Just one is directly baby-related, so there’s hopefully something that might catch your eye!

Eye Mask

I brought this eye mask with me to the hospital, and it came in handy when I was trying to sleep and there were still lights on. But it also comes in handy at home too!

Eme is still in a phase where she doesn’t always want to turn off her bedroom lights at night (sometimes the night light wins, but not often), whereas I prefer to sleep in the dark.

On the nights Eme wants to cuddle, I use my eye mask and I’m actually able to get some rest, instead of trying to cover my head and eyes with a pillow!

Sunglasses

Eme calls these my “Lady Gaga Sunglasses” because they sort of look like ones she wears in the “Bad Romance” music video (that she’s a big fan of).

I was looking for oversized sunglasses, and had a tough time finding a pair that were big enough, sort of square, and didn’t completely take over my face.

Goal achieved! These don’t cost much at all, and make me feel super cool when I wear them.

Baby Car Camera

If you’ve had a baby, you know about the rear car seat mirror. You have to crane your neck to turn around and look into the mirror to make sure baby is ok.

There were a couple celebrities that I saw with something similar, so I figured it would be way out of my budget.

Imagine my surprise when I saw this camera, and it was under $30!

I love having this in the car, so I can quickly check on baby to see how he’s doing! Especially when I’m in the passenger seat and he’s right behind me!

Stoney Clover Dupe

I’m a fan of Stoney Clover pouches, but not the price. I have a couple, and they’re really nice, but it’s hard to justify spending $100+ on one small pouch.

I wanted to get my diaper bag really organized before baby got here (nesting, am I right?!), and started looking for a Stoney Clover dupe.

I should have expected Amazon would have something similar!

The quality isn’t as nice as the original, but for less than a quarter of the price I’m ok with that!

Patches

In an effort to help Eme feel included, I ordered a bunch of patches off of Amazon to decorate our new pouches.

There was a huge variety of patches that Eme loved going through! Like a normal 4 year old she was disinterested after a little while. But, I used a lot of the patches to decorate the pouches, with Eme’s approval on design and placement. Ha!

Kabuki Brush

Last but not least, a kabuki brush. An odd one, I know.

But! This is an awesome hack that I found online for kids and babies.

Putting sunscreen on kids is a PAIN, but using a kabuki brush, put a little bit of product on the top, and use it to apply all over! Makes the whole process go a lot faster, and it “tickles” so it’s a little bit more fun. Plus, I can get Eme to help out too since she thinks its so cool!

What are some of your current Amazon favorites that I need to check out?!
