Cool Gifts for Guys: For the Techie
Sonos Speakers
We (Dianne) have these Sonos speakers all throughout our house. What’s nice is that you can add them one at a time, they don’t have to be purchased all at once. The Sonos One is voice activated so it does work with Alexa. It works via WiFi and works with all streaming services such as Audible, Pandora and Spotify.
Speaking of Audible, an Audible subscription is also a great gift. You can add a Sonos speaker to the garage or his work room and add an Audible subscription so he can listen to his favorite books while working on a project. You can listen to Audible anywhere with the app.
Shower Head with Wireless Speaker
This shower head is perfect for a techie, and overall cool and unique. If you pair the shower head speaker AND the shower beer holder (below), you might not see the gift recipient for a while!
For the Sports Guy
Vintage Sports Jerseys from Mitchell and Ness
These are a little pricey, but the true sports fan will love them. When I (Dianne) was showing this site to Jeff, he was oohing and ahhing over these, especially the baseball ones. They have vintage jerseys in every sport.
The Theragun is great for anyone with tight muscles and could use some tension and stress relief. Easy to use on your own, or have a partner help out with your back! If you’re looking for more of a massage, check out the Theragun Mini!
Does he still collect baseball cards? We have someone in our family who still does. This is a great set for any collector because you get all cards in mint condition and there might be a rookie card that has a lot of value in years to come!

Cool Gifts for Guys: Stuff He Can Wear
If you’re not familiar with Carhartt, it has transformed itself from a work clothing brand to a fashion brand. While we love the style, we also love that they are based in Detroit. Carhartt gear has been seen on celebrities such as Jamie Foxx, Kanye West, Bella Hadid and Rihanna. CNBC ran a really great story on Carhartt that you can see here if you’d like to learn more.
There’s a simple reason that we include Allbirds in just about every gift guide – they’re that comfortable. I (Dianne) have two pairs that I alternated wearing on our recent trip to NYC. We walked six miles every day and my feet felt great. (And if you know me, that’s amazing). They sell both men’s and women’s, but we’ll focus on the men’s for this gift guide!
In addition to being comfortable, the Wool-Runner Mizzles are both sustainable and water-repellent. They are also available in over 15 colors.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this brand, and I have so many friends who are obsessed. It’s hard to spend this much money on a pair of sweatpants for yourself, which is why they make a great gift. I love buying people gifts on things I know they’ll like, but won’t necessarily buy from themselves.
“Spirits” Gifts
“Best Shot of the Day” Personalized Golf Shot Glass
This is a good joke gift for a beer lover who has been known to enjoy a shower beer every once in a while. I even have a shower wine glass holder! These are great finds on Etsy!
If there’s a man (or even woman!) in your life that enjoys whiskey, why not give them a shot at making their own? Start with a basic whiskey like Buffalo Trace or Maker’s Mark, and give them the kit to find their perfect blend!
If the gift recipient is into beer, but has tried almost everything locally, a craft beer club would be a cool gift for them to get. Get a chance to try different beers from all over the US, that you’d normally have to travel to, to try out. Their subscriptions are offered monthly, every other month and quarterly.
Everyday Gifts
This is a great and quick read book, written by former Navy S.E.A.L. Jacob Werskman. Dianne’s husband, Jeff, gave this to Jen’s husband, Mike, when he was recently promoted. He read it just a couple of hours and loved it. This book is a family favorite.
As you know, we love Carhartt gear – and not just to wear. This backpack can be used for so many things – maybe even to carry the new craft beers from the Craft Beer Club?
Vegan Leather Toiletry Kit from K. Carroll Accessories
K. Carroll used their expertise in women’s handbags to start a men’s line a couple of years ago. We love this toiletry kit because it looks great and it is only $30. You can have it monogrammed for an additional $10, still a steal!
A friend recently introduced me to this brand and said their products were just as good as Yeti, but less expensive. So I decided to give RTIC a try and he was right. Your beverages stay hot and cool for a long time and the price is hard to beat. You can pair it with the Carhartt Backpack Cooler!

This is so stinkin’ cool. Put this personal fireplace anywhere (within reason) that you want a little bit of ambiance. Even when its off, it will still look great as decoration in your home.
