Jen’s Current Amazon Favorites

Last updated on October 22nd, 2021 at 10:29 pm

We all buy stuff off Amazon, right? You can get anything and everything, and I’m going to share some of my absolutely favorite things you can get!

Not all of these things are makeup and fashion related too, some are just things I love and use all the time in my everyday life.

Most of these things I’ve never mentioned before, so I hope you give them a shot and love them as much as I do!

Fun Stuff!

Le Pen

These pens are so amazing, I’ve gotten a lot of people in my life hooked on them. They’re a fine point pen and come in so many pretty colors. I have these sitting on my desk, and love using them for taking notes at work, writing in my planner, journaling, pretty much everything!

Adult Markers

While you could probably color with Le Pen, it would probably take you forever. That’s where these adult markers come in. These are great if you’re into adult coloring books, or even just drawing and doodling fun pictures in the margins of your notebooks. Anyone else still do this, or just me?

The Ideal Team Player

I just finished reading this book, and if you’re at all interested in personal and professional growth, it’s a great read. In this book, Patrick Lencioni shares the three traits that make an ideal team player – humble, hungry and smart. And what it means if you only have one or two of these traits.

What I really enjoy about Patrick Lencioni books is they’re told as a fictional story that involves the book’s concepts. It keeps me engaged and I want to keep reading to know what’s going to happen.

I’m currently reading my third book by Patrick Lencioni, so I highly recommend checking him out!

I listened to the book!

Ban.do Notebook

I’m a notebook hoarder, and I’m also very specific about my notebooks too. They need to be spiral bound with a hard cover so I can write comfortably with my notebook on my lap.

Ban.do has so many cute products, and how could a cover that says “Be Nice” be wrong?

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Kitchen Basics Set – Apple Cider

My husband thinks I’m crazy for how many Mrs. Meyer’s products we own, but in my defense they’re for different seasons.

I’m obsessed with this Apple Cider scent, and use all three products throughout fall.

The scent also reminds me of when I was on maternity leave, and I would tidy up the kitchen before going to bed. This was obviously before I had a toddler who leaves a wake of chaos wherever she goes.

Skin

Micellar Water

If I’m not wearing makeup, I don’t use regular face wash before bed. I’ll use this Micellar Water on a cotton round all over my face to take off any grime before doing my regular skincare routine.

And even if I did wear makeup that day, after cleansing my face with some of the products below, I’ll still use Micellar Water to make sure I’ve really gotten all the makeup off.

I also use Micellar Water in the mornings before putting on moisturizer and makeup (if I’m wearing any that day). For me, my face doesn’t get all that dirty overnight and doesn’t need a harsh cleaning.

If you have oily skin, you might still need to wash your face morning and night. But this routine is what I’ve figured out works best for me!

Makeup Eraser

I’ve been using the Makeup Eraser for years, and I still love it! All you have to do is wet the towel with a little water, and it takes off your makeup! Follow that up with your favorite face wash and your face is nice and clean!

And you don’t need to wash the Makeup Eraser after every use. I typically use each side three times (unless I was wearing a lot of makeup that needed to come off), and then throw it in the washing machine.

I’ll spare you from looking at my well-loved MakeUp Erasers!

E.l.f Makeup Melting Balm

This is a newer product I’ve tried, and I was so surprised when I used it the first time. When it’s time to wash off your makeup, use the little scoop to grab about a dime-sized amount of product. Rub into your dry skin first, and then wet your fingers to keep cleaning, and then rise it all off.

It takes off your makeup, and makes your skin so soft!

Follow up with your regular cleanser too, just to make sure you get all the makeup and dirt off your skin!

Hero Cosmetics

If you don’t get zits, just keep on moving. But if you do, and haven’t tried zit patches, get ready to be obsessed.

Feel a zit popping up, or already have one that’s reared its ugly head? Clean off the area, and make sure your skin is dry before applying the patch.

Leave it on overnight, or throughout the day (I’ve definitely worn them during Zoom meetings and totally forgot).

When you take it off, the amount of oil and gunk that has been absorbed is simultaneously gross but so cool.

Hero Cosmetics has the standard zit patches, zit patches with micro points for extra strength, dark spot lightening serum and dark spot lightening patches!

Hair

Revlon Hair Brush and Volumizer

I love using this hair dryer to give my hair some volume and look like I got a blowout at the salon! Because I definitely can’t achieve the same results with a blow dryer and round brush!

Just be careful because the brush gets very hot if you use it on the high setting!

Enjoy this photo of a clean brush, very different from mine!

Body

Dr Teal’s Foaming Bath with Epsom Salt

Epsom Salt is great for helping to relax muscles, and lavender is great for overall relaxing – perfect for a bubble bath before bedtime!

Plus, you just need a little bit to end up with a tub full of bubbles!

Tinkle Razors

Have you heard of dermaplaning? I use these Tinkle Razors for an at-home version of dermaplaning to remove the peach fuzz on my face. My face feels smoother afterward, and I think my makeup looks better!
