It’s the start of a new season and a great time to talk about the best handbags on Amazon under $50. It’s also a great time of year for a wardrobe refresh and an easy way to add something new to your closet is through a new handbag.
If you’ve been following us for a while, then you know I am “handbag-obsessed”. I even worked for a handbag company for 12 years, doing all their marketing and PR. We all participated in the design of the bags as well. So, between my personal love of handbags and my professional experience, I curated a list of the best handbags on Amazon under $50 that I think bring you the best quality, features and fun!

Tweed Handbags
Let’s start with my handbag in the above photo. It definitely has a Chanel feel to it. I love tweed handbags and you can carry them anytime of the year. Black tweed is great for fall and winter and your lighter tweeds, (white, pink) are perfect for spring/summer.
Quilted Handbags
I thought I would keep with the “Chanel” Inspired theme and create a list of quilted bags. Just a note – I am showing mostly neutral colors but all the bags in every category come in a multitude of colors. So, if you like the style, but not the color, I would give the bag a click anyway. I also have a section at the end of this post with just some bright, fun colored bags.
Those “4 x 6” Bags You Now Need Everywhere
I don’t know about you, but I am finding that almost every venue is requiring bags that are no larger than 4″ x 6″, if they let you bring in a bag at all. So, for me, finding cute bags in this size is becoming more important. So, I doubled up the list for this category to help you find some cute bags too. There’s always a time when you need a tote bag. I picked some lighter, spring colors as a way to update your tote for spring.
Larger Crossbody Bags
Another bag that you always seems to come in handy. These are great for travel, shopping or just anytime you want to go hands free. I personally like bags with a guitar strap. They feel more secure and they look great too.
Straw Bags
‘Tis the season for straw bags. Over the past few years I have found that I will carry a straw bag during the summer much more often than I thought. They are the perfect neutral bag for the season, especially when wearing a bright outfit. You can add your straw bag that looks and feels summery, but is a subtle touch to your outfit.
Floral Print Handbags
Think about an all-white outfit and then adding this bag to finish it off. All white outfits are another trend this season, so having a fun floral bag is the perfect accessory.
