The Best Gifts for Every Valentine On Your List

It’s that time of year where we celebrate love! While we traditionally think of Valentine’s Day as a celebration of romantic love, it’s really much more than that. Our valentine can be our parents, our children, our friends, partners and more. We’ve put together some great gift ideas that should cover almost every valentine on your list.

Sweet Treats

A heart-shaped box of chocolates may seem kind of boring, but there’s also something wonderfully nostalgic about it too. If the person you’re shopping for enjoys chocolates, I say go for it. You know them best, so pair it with another gift, or some flowers, depending on what they like.

If you want to get chocolates, and elevate it a bit, try Bon Bon Bon from Detroit. They hand-make delicious and beautiful chocolates, and ship them right to your door! And if you play your cards right, maybe you’ll get to try some too!

Fun

If your Valentine SO loves candy and movies, why not arrange for a movie night at home? Find a new movie you want to watch, or a long-time favorite, get all your snacks, and cuddle up together!

The gift here isn’t the donut pan itself, but it’s making donuts for a delicious treat! Check out this recipe from King Arthur Baking Company on how to make three different kinds of donuts!

We both recently got AirPods, and are obsessed! I (Jen) thought they would never work for me because I have very small ears and trying my husband’s original AirPods would just fall right out. But before I decided to buy, I tried his AirPod Pros with the smallest silicone tips, and low and behold, they worked!

If your SO is still using the original headphones with cords, and getting tangled up in everything, this would be a perfect gift!

We are both Marvel fans, in fact our entire families are. I (Dianne) bought this for my husband Jeff last year and he loved it. This is just a sample of what they have, but she offers almost every Marvel character and Star Wars characters too. You can custom design everything.

Sort-of Sappy

If you want to be mushy, get a book like this, and write to your heart’s content about all the things you love about your person!

This is fun gift that can be for both of you. It could even work as a shirt for a family reunion!

“From the Heart”

Some classic yet unique heart shaped gifts that will work any valentine!

Unique

The next two are other gifts that would make a great experience together.

If you’ve ever been to the melting pot, you know how great fondue is! Chocolate fondue is super easy to make, and this recipe gives you ways to tweak it a little bit for different flavors!

Making dinner for your partner is a great Valentine’s Day activity, but if you live somewhere cold like we do, grilling isn’t really an option. Enter a smokeless grill! Cook up some steaks and veggies for a delicious dinner!

If you’re more in takeout, but maybe a little tired of the “What you want for dinner?”, “I don’t know, what do you want?” then these dice are a fun solution. You can have them customized to the type of food you like so there this should keep the love strong and the arguments away.

There are a lot of beer aficionados in our family, so we’re always looking for a fun beer gift. This does not come with beer, but you can fill it with his favorite brews. A lot of stores (even Kroger) sell singles, so you can customize it any way you want – even use one of the spaces for candy instead of beer,

Even if you’ve known your partner for a long time, there’s always something new to learn. Take turns drawing cards and answering questions, to get to know each other even more!

If you don’t have a weighted blanket yet, check them out! Weighted blankets offer a whole host of benefits, besides being warm and cozy! They may help you get a deeper sleep, or help to curb some anxiety.

Parents or “Like a Parent”

You can surprise your parents, stepparents, aunt, uncle with a small token to let them know that they are included as a valentine.

This token is great to slip into a Valentine’s Day card, especially if you live far away from each other. For only $6.25 each, you can give one to every valentine on your list.

This is a sweet gift, no matter how old you (or your dad) are!

Kids

You don’t need to spend a lot on kids for Valentine’s Day, just a little something to make them feel loved. Especially if it’s candy!

Teens

Similar to kids, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to make them feel special.

Get a beauty lover some nail polish, nail stickers or some lip gloss! Or if your teen loves video games, and has a console already, why not get them a new game to play?

Games you can play as a family would be a lot of fun too, and the parents get to enjoy it as well!

This pillow is just fun and can be used all year long!

For Your Furry Valentine

How about a “Bee Mine” bandana for your kitty or puppy? There are more valentine patterns and they are all available in different sizes.

It wouldn’t be us, if we didn’t find a “beauty-themed” pet toy. The link below is for the dog toy, but it is also available for cats.

And don’t forget those dog moms and dads out there too!
