THE CHALLENGE FOR “HOW TO WEAR IT AT ANY AGE” VOLUME 23

HEART STRIPED SWEATER – DIANNE’S STYLING

At Any Age Heart Sweater

How fun is this sweater? What I love about it is that it’s while it’s festive, it’s still contemporary with it’s stripes and cropped styling. I can see me wearing this for many Valentine’s Day to come.

The styling for this sweater is pretty straightforward. Jeans are the obvious choice for pants, but you can dress it up or down with your shoes, jacket or bag. I kept mine pretty classic with a low heeled suede bootie and classic saddle crossbody.

Since this outfit seemed very “French” to me, I added the navy blue military jacket and a red beret as another option! I swapped out my suede booties for some cream colored combat boots.

You can make this outfit even more festive, while still keeping it casual. Swap out the booties for some red sneakers and add some heart shaped jewelry. Finish it off with a classic wool coat and hobo bag.

HEART STRIPED SWEATER – JEN’S STYLING

Heart Sweater

This sweater is so quintessentially me! I love stripes, so I was all over this sweater when I saw it. I’d wear this to Eme’s Valentine’s Day party at school, or celebrating the day with friends and family.

And because it’s definitely winter in Michigan, boots at this point are a must. Plus a heavy jacket, gloves, a hat…you know the drill.

I had a sweater years ago that looked similar, and unfortunately it was also a couple sizes ago too, so I haven’t been able to wear it again. So I know I’ll definitely get use out of this one!

This outfit gives me a classic vibe. And adding the camel jacket makes it a smidge more preppy!

I recently saw these shirt extenders on Instagram, and thought they were ingenious! You can get a layered look with no bulk! And you can wear leggings, have your butt covered and look dressed up.

These leggings are faux-suede and look super comfortable, but pull the whole look together. If you want an edgier vibe, swap these leggings for faux-leather!

Loafers would also look so cute with this outfit, but getting my feet wet and cold in the snow isn’t worth it right now.

BLACK KNOT FRONT BODYSUIT – DIANNE’S STYLING

How to Wear a Black Bodysuit at any age

If you’re looking for a casual, yet sexier date night outfit, this bodysuit fits the bill. As with most bodysuits, it’s pretty form-fitting, so you have to be comfortable with that fit. That said, you can still wear it, you can just add a light sweater or blazer over it. It’s the front knot detail that you want to show off.

I went with a monochrome look with a pop of red. This snake belt is so fun. I bought it a little while back and have been waiting for an opportunity to wear it. I love it with this look. Because the top and belt speak for themselves, I chose to only wear oversized hoop earrings for jewelry. And since this is for Valentine’s Day, I had to add the red handbag.

Bodysuit Alternate Look

If you don’t want to go bold red, a dark cherry red is a great alternative. As mentioned above, add a lightweight cardigan if are not completely comfortable with the fit. I intentionally picked one with an open front and without buttons so that the knot of the top would show.

I swapped out the skinny jeans with more of a flare and paired them with classic pumps. For this look, I kept the earrings simple but added some stacked silver bracelets. Finally I threw in the fun houndstooth bag for some interest.

BLACK KNOT FRONT BODYSUIT – JEN’S STYLING

This bodysuit can be dressed up, or can be more casual! The twist in the front gives it a little more interest. You don’t even need a necklace with it!

I’m always a fan of an all-black outfit! My Disney loafers make the outfit different than my normal all-black! I would even wear this outfit to work!

But changing out the shoes and bag makes it a perfect outfit for dinner or a date!

Turn up the fashion factor with these out-of-the-box pants. The lace is so unique, plus the bodysuit with cutouts, it’s sexy without showing a ton of skin.

I love the color of this jacket – it just screams Valentine’s Day! But it would make a statement no matter when you wear it.

Plus, the wedge of these ankle booties helps you keep your balance if you’re walking in the snow!

PINK TWEED CROPPED BLAZER – DIANNE’S STYLING

How to Wear it at Any Age Volume 24

I decided to try something a little different for me with this blazer. Normally I would wear this a litte dressier, but I love this casual look. It worked out perfectly because I already owned everything else in the photo. One of the things that I love about this jacket is it’s tweed/Chanel inspired look. So my Paris tee in pink seemed to be the perfect match.

I bought my Allbirds last year because of the color. The color is technically called “cool taupe’ but I love that they are just the palest pink. I also bought my heart handbag last year, but I’ve got a bunch of cute alternatives for you to check out!

I decided to do my own “alternate look”. When I was first thinking about how I wanted to style this jacket, I went with a classic look. I ended up liking my casual look a little bit more, but I still like this look.

I still have the same feeling about the “Chanel inspired” styling of the jacket, so I did pair it with my Chanel bag (a treat to myself on a special trip years ago). Instead of going with classic black shoes, I paired my bootcut jeans with some gray suede booties. I also added a layered silver necklace. I kept my blouse simple to keep the attention on the jacket.

I pretty much went all out on a “Chanel Inspired” feel for this look. What’s more Chanel than tweed and pearls? It’s still a classic and a look that I love!

Two totally different looks with one jacket! One is perfect for the office and one is totally va-va-voom!

The white bodysuit and jeans is very classic and chic! This outfit would be perfect when the weather starts getting a little bit warmer, and you’re ready for spring vibes.

But this lace bodysuit? Oh. My. Goodness. It’s shapewear, and it makes you look so good! It’s super sexy and adds a little bit of sweetness with the jacket.

This outfit is definitely a departure from my main outfit. Really leaning into the Chanel-esque vibe, but the faux-leather pants give it a twist! A mix between classic and edgy is fun and unexpected!

And how cute are these heels? They would be great for the office and for a date!
