Here we are with “How to Wear it at Any Age Volume 15”. We’re doing things a little bit different this time. We recently spent some time with our friend/sales consultant, Kristen, at our local Evereve store. We worked with her to pick out some amazing looks that we both love.
You’re going to see two out of three looks right now, there is a third look coming. Why don’t we have that third look here today? Well, that’s a secret, but all will be revealed very soon. If you’re not already, follow us on Instagram or Facebook and you’ll learn why! UPDATE: Jen has let the cat out of the bag – she’s expecting! We added our third look to end of the post!
We are also styling an amazing pair of Sorel lug sole combat boots that we also got at Evereve. We made them a key part of some of outfits.
This is how “How to Wear it at Any Age Volume 15” works: We decide together on the items that we want to style. We do not share how we were going to style each one, so that we can’t influence each other. Sometimes we will style things very similar and sometimes very different. But we hope in all cases we give you some style inspiration, no matter what your age or life stage!

The strong shoulders on this sweater are so unique, that we fell in love with it before even trying it on!
If you remember our last At Any Age, I was all about the liquid leggings. And the same applies to this sweater too! The boots make this sweater a little casual, but you could easily switch the boots for over the knee boots for a fancier look.
The sweater already has a little edge with the shoulders, and the liquid leggings make it look effortlessly cool.
JEN’S ALTERNATE LOOK:
I saw these patterned leggings, and thought it would be a soft and pretty compliment to the sweater. There’s so many different ways this sweater can be dressed up!
The oversized camel coat and boots will keep you warm in the winter. The bag adds just a little bit of color to the cream and camel outfit!

As Jen mentioned, we were immediately “drawn” to this sweater because of the shoulders, they are so unique and very stylish. What I’ve always loved about big shoulders (think 1980’s shoulder pads) is that they give you a nice “V” shape with a smaller waist.
What you can’t see too well in these photos is that there is just a subtle gold thread running through the sweater to give it a festive look. That’s why I paired it with the chocolate brown velvet jeans from Old Navy with the neutral pumps to give it a “dressy casual” look.
DIANNE’S ALTERNATE LOOK:
I thought this sweater had the opportunity to be dressed up a little bit more, which is why I went with the cream/ivory monochrome look with gold accents. The idea of the pencil skirt with the sweater, again, because of the strong shoulders, will give you a long lean look.
I picked the gold accents to pull out the gold thread in the sweater. and added the suede boots for a stylish addition to make it the perfect holiday look.

Ok, so I know I can’t get enough of my liquid leggings, but in this instance it might be a little too much. Even for me!
One of the easiest ways to wear this is with jeans! The sweatshirt is super comfortable, but you still look dressed up.
The boots look awesome with this sweatshirt too, and are perfect for the chilly weather with this hat!
JEN’S ALTERNATE LOOK:
For this option, I went with a black monochromatic look, broken up with the black and white jacket.
If you’re in a pinch and don’t know what to wear, go for a monochrome look! It’s super easy to pull together, and it always looks chic.

This sweatshirt with the leather accents is so fun. It takes an ordinary item and makes it unique. I started out with a black monochrome look (took photos and everything) but then decided to add some pattern with the plaid leggings. I liked the Sorel boots with this outfit – they look great and they are waterproof also.
DIANNE’S ALTERNATE LOOK:
Of course, jeans are always a good idea! I paired this sweatshirt with a simple straight leg jean. The sweatshirt is the star of outfit so I didn’t want any rips or embellishments on the jeans to take away from the sweatshirt.
I added the large hobo bag and black sneakers as I saw this as an “errand outfit”. I thought to be different, I would add the poncho for a sleek look. The sweatshirt is fairly warm and the poncho adds an extra layer of warmth without being too bulky.
Ultra Rib Shine Dress by Michael Stars

So by now, you know that I’ve been keeping a little (big?) secret. Surprise! I could hide it depending on the outfit, but this dress was a sure giveaway!
But when I tried it on, I absolutely loved it! The ruching is really flattering on every body type (even more so without a bump), and looks curvy and gorgeous.
The sort of sparkly fabric can be versatile, and dressed up or down!
Our friend Kristen paired this dress with a black puffer vest, and I loved it! I had one at home, but I loved the one at Evereve! The puffer vest and ankle boots dress this down a little bit, while still looking super cute!
JEN’S ALTERNATE LOOK:
Dressing up a little bit more for the second look with a checked jacket and sparkly accessories. Plus, some super cute ankle boots. It’s definitely a fancier look, but the jacket makes it a little more casual. Or, replace the checked jacket with a leather jacket for an edgier look!

Just like Jen, I love this dress. I will admit to being a little hesitant at first because it looks small on the hanger – but it has a lot of stretch. The ruching on the sides makes it. Because it is form fitting, the ruching adds some dimension to the dress and makes it look more relaxed and comfortable.
The purse I’ve had for forever. I bought it years ago because I love it and knew I would have it for years (which I have). This dress is perfect to bring it out and add some fun to the dress!
DIANNE’S ALTERNATE LOOK:
I really wanted to go with a “gunmetal” monochrome look, which is why I picked the shoes, handbag and even the earrings. The blush/pink faux leather jacket and scarf adds a feminine touch. I like the contrast of the two.
For a different look, you could still wear a neutral bootie with the dress like they have on the model!
We hope you enjoyed our “all Evereve” At Any Age. We really like what they have to offer. Some of the items are a little more expensive than we usually spend, but you can find great items for a great value. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
