How to Put Together an Awesome Bracelet Stack

I have what I like to call, tiny baby wrists. I love bracelets, but they all fall off for the most part, so I never really bothered with them. My style has evolved lately to where my outfits are more on the basic side, but I’m adding more texture and interest with my jewlery. Like putting together an awesome bracelet stack!

I’ve tried to make a cute bracelet stack before, and it always falls short (in my opinion). So I’m doing my research and am on a quest to put together a bracelet stack.

How to Put Together an Awesome Bracelet Stack

Starting off:

My Apple Watch – I wear my Apple Watch almost every day (aside from dress up occasions), so this is the base of my bracelet stack.

There’s a lot of different options for an apple watch band, so find one that you think fits your style the best. Or, find a couple and change them out to go with different looks.

I found a Louis Vuitton watch band on Etsy. It’s not made BY Louis Vuitton, but it’s made FROM Louis Vuitton. Although the LV canvas has a “print”, I pretty much consider it a neutral that can go with anything.

When we went to Disney World, I ordered a Mickey Ears watch band and paired it with a couple Mickey and Minnie bracelets from Keep Collective (doesn’t look like they’re available anymore though).

Now on to bracelets –

Next I started picking out some bracelets, and what I wanted my “primary” bracelet to be. I love the look of the Cartier Love Bracelet, but I don’t love the price. So I found basically an exact replica on Etsy, plus the Nail Bangle by Cartier too.

There’s a lot of different sellers on Etsy that make these bracelets, so make sure you read the reviews before you purchase.

What I like about the faux-Cartier bracelets is that you get to choose the size, and I get to make sure it fits my wrist.

You could also get a bracelet similar to the Hermes H Logo bracelet, and choose a pretty color. As we learned before, I’m not great at adding color, so I’d probably go with white. But, there’s so many pretty options and at an affordable price that you can get a couple to wear with different outfits!

If you’re not interested in designer or faux-designer, you can get a gorgeous solid metal bangle, or this twisted bangle. Why not add a personal touch by engraving your bangle?

If you feel like being monochrome, go with all metal. And don’t feel like you have to wear all the same. Mix your metals! Gold! Silver! Rose gold! They all look beautiful together!

Change it up a bit –

I like to mix in some color from time to time – like with my beaded April Soderstrom “Mama” bracelet, or with different crystals. I don’t usually want my bracelets to “match” my outfit, but more so complement what I’m wearing. You could even add in some color with your watch band too.

I also like crystals for bringing me good energy, and oftentimes I’ll choose a crystal based on what I think I’ll need a little more of that day – like more loving energy with Rose Quartz. But if you’re not into that sort of thing, just think of them as pretty colored bracelets.

Charm bracelets are super cute too, and would fit in well with a bracelet stack. My sister has charm bracelets from both Pandora and Kate Spade (doesn’t look like Kate Spade makes them anymore though). And now that I’m thinking about it some more, does anyone else know of other brands that make cute charm bracelets I could check out?

Alex and Ani has really cute bracelets that stack well, and there’s so many different options. But because my wrists are so small I ended up passing on this trend. I’ve definitely thought about it though!

Other things to think about –

Avoid anything too big, so it doesn’t overshadow your other bracelets. Plus, you don’t want your bracelets taking up more than one-third of your forearm.

How do you like bracelets to fit? Is moving around on your arm ok, or do you want them staying mostly in place? I tend to use my apple watch like an anchor, to keep all my bracelets from sliding around. But I will put daintier bracelets closest to my hand, so they get they attention they deserve.

Just make sure you’re not sandwiching a dainty bracelet between two big ones!

Similar principle goes for when you aren’t wearing a watch. Try to keep the daintier bracelets closer to you hand, versus farther up your arm, so you can actually see them!

I’ve seen so many cool bracelet stacks, and I was never sure how to do it myself until I started digging into it more. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to layering jewelry, but who knows, maybe bracelets will end up my signature accessory!

Are you into putting together a bracelet stack? What kind of bracelets do you like to wear? I’d love to know!
