Everyone thinks they’re going to be a certain type of parent and never do “this or that”, and then they have kids, and it all goes out the window. Cue me having a daughter, and now I love mommy and me outfits.
Eme’s first halloween? Shark family outfits. Christmas? Matching pajamas. Winter wear? Matching hats. Disney World? Matching AND coordinating outfits.
If we matched everyday that would be overkill, but I do love matching when it’s “appropriate” (mostly when I feel like it).
Whether you want to match exactly, or you just want to coordinate, here’s where I look to find cute (and affordable!) outfits.
Yes, I have a daughter, but I would 100% coordinate with a son. Additionally, I don’t care if clothes are for boys or girls. If a shirt has Mickey and Pluto on it, and it’s for boys, I buy it anyway.
Even though I knew I was having a girl, I still bought a lot of boys and gender-neutral clothing. I really don’t want to dress Eme in clothes that say “GURLZ RULE!” or along those lines (unless she wants to)!
Old Navy
Old Navy is a great place to start. They have a ton of clothes to choose from, plus the prices are more than reasonable.
Pink Dyed Crew Neck
Toddler Dip Dye Hoodie
Vintage Pullover hoodie for Girls
Women’s Camo Joggers
Toddler Camo Joggers
Boys Camo Shorts – I’d put Eme in these too though
Toddler Jean Jacket
Toddler Boys Jean Jacket
Girls jean Jacket
Women’s jean jacket
Just think how cute a matching outfit would be with Camo pants, a white t-shirt and a jean jacket! I don’t wear a lot of Camo, but I’d definitely give it a try for a matching outfit.
Target
I think we all know Target has everything. So this is a great place to get matching pajamas. They do have some t-shirts you can coordinate with, but not as many as you can find elsewhere.
Pastel striped matching pajamas
Tie-Dye Matching Pajamas – who hasn’t bought at least one tie-dyed item while at home?
Hannah Andersson
I’ll warn you, Hannah Andersson has super cute matching family pajamas (and kids clothes), but it can be pretty pricey. I got our pajamas from here for our Holiday pictures, and we still wear them a lot.
Star Wars the Child family pajamas
The Children’s Place
While I was doing my research for this post, I saw that The Children’s Place has matching family clothes too! These outfits would be so cute for Easter, and I imagine they come out with different clothes by the season.
Womens Floral Sharkbite Dress
Girls Floral Sharkbite Dress
Womens Daisy Lace Shift Dress
Girls Daisy Lace Shift Dress
Toddler Daisy Lace Shift Dress
Men’s Plaid Button Down
Boys Plaid Button Down
Toddler Plaid Button Down
Baby Plaid Outfit Set
Amazon
Amazon also has everything, and then some. At first I didn’t even think about matching outfits from Amazon. And then I thought “It’s Amazon. Duh.”
Carhartt Adult Cuffed Beanie – I have this hat in brown and light pink (Mike and his Dad both have the brown too, to match Eme. It’s a family affair.)
Carhartt Kids Watch Hat – Eme has this hat in brown and bright pink, and loves them!
Matching Family Swimsuits – I recently made a joke about getting matching swimsuits this summer, and I might just do it after finding this!
Mama and Mini Matching Long sleeve Shirts
What about loungewear? I’d wear matching sweats with Eme every day if I could too!

Do you love mommy and me outfits as much as I do? Or even daddy and me outfits? I’d love to know where you get your matching outfits from!
